Designing for Crip Futures is a media-based Design Fiction workshop. Design Fiction combines elements of science fiction, science fact and critical design to create diegetic prototypes or prototypes that exist within ‘story worlds.’ This workshop, led by Esther Ignagni, Kim Collins, and Eliza Chandler, challenges participants to think about how spaces are designed. Participants are encouraged to raise questions, explore legal, ethical and social debates about social design. In the design fiction workshop, participants will create prototypes of a product that could exist in the near future.
